Rules and Regulations

Okay I guess this is the part where I stick it too you so to speak . I do not have many rules, but the ones I do have are there for a reason, and not following a few of these rules will get your account deleted after two warnings.

  1. Please have some knowledge of ftp, I have no problem helping you if you need it but this would just make the whole process go easier. I recommend Core FTP. They have a free version and a pro version, I personally have used the free version for years and recently upgraded for my own reasons.
  2. Your site must be up within 2 weeks and must remain actively updated at least once a month(this has been updated from the 2 week rule).
    • If you are accepted please have your site up within 2 weeks after I set your account up. I place this here due to the fact that I have had a few host sign up and I make accounts and they did nothing. If you have a reason for not being able to put your site up within that time please send me an email and let me know you still want the hosting and we can arrange something.
    • You must update your site at least once a month, because if you put a site up and I feel you are just wasting my space i’m sure there is someone else who will be glad to have your hosting spot.
    • If you feel the need to take a break from your site and go on a hiatus (I think we all do that at some point) by all means do it, just let me know before you do, either email me, im me and you must put your visitors on notice that your on one. No Hiatus longer than a month and a half.
  3. If I find out you have stolen content of any kind on your site, you will very likely be kicked off my domain without notice so consider this a first and last warning. I have a real bad problem and find it pretty offensive when people take other peoples hard work and claim it as their own and do not give credit where credit is due. If it is brought to my attention that you have took someones content, graphics or anything else without giving proper credit I will likely delete you. So with that said please make your own layouts and code your own sites, and if you cannot do that feel free to ask me for help, heavily tweaked pre-made layouts are accepted. Absolutely no copyright infringement. You can upload stuff you have made yourself for people to download and you can also upload other things, (example: brushes, fonts, wallpapers, scripts and such) as long as you have consent from the person who made it or coded it and link back to them.
  4. By uploading anything you accept and agree to abide my hosting companies TOS . They are basic rules, do not upload stole content, copyright products, warez, etc. If I find you violating any of their rules and regulations I will shut your site down and delete you off of my servers without warning, I refuse to loose my hosting due to someone who has no respect for other peoples things.
  5. I reserve the right to modify these rules and regulations whenever I want. I’ am sure as the more time goes by things will get changed around. If I do I will send an email out to everyone explaining the changes. If you are in violation of new rules you will get one chance to change it anything past that is grounds for termination.
  6. Last thing a link back to chichosting.net is a must have on your main site. If it comes down at all so does your site until you put one up. A text link is fine or use the button below buttons. Buttons or text links must be visible at all times. No Exceptions. I will suspend your account until it is placed on your site.
